(Day Five)
DOME / Margaret River Chocolate Factory / Margaret River Providore / Hamelin Bay
Margaret River Chocolate Factory!
Got myself some ice-cream from Sammo and really love the shiok feeling of eating ice-cream in the cold.
Margaret River Providore!
Spent a good 30 minutes or so trying to find Cape Lavender but failed. Not sure if google map failed on us or that cape lavender doesnt exist in winter so yup, I was pretty disappointed mehz.
Headed to A Maze 'N Maze next and we were told that an average person needs about 30 minutes to complete it BUT we took an hour plus just to get to the centre of the whole maze and another 45 minutes or so just to get out of the maze. Guess our brains aren't working very well :c
Our next destination for the day was Hamelin Bay and all i can say is that died died please visit Hamelin Bay (my fave place for the trip). GJ and I trekked all the way up (the other two decides to retreat from the crazy wind) and we were greeted by a super gorgeous 360 degree view of mother nature. Breathtaking indeed. A pity my photos do no justice to the really really magnificent view :(
Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse!
Where the Southern and Indian ocean meets. Really an amazing sight watching the tides from the two different oceans clashed against one another.

(Day seven)
Tuck Shop Cafe / Hay Street Mall / Murray Street Mall / London Court / Westfield Carousel
Approximately 4 hours drive from Busselton and we are finally back at Perth City. Dropped by the highly raved Tuck Shop Cafe for brunch! I'd say my portion of Pork Belly did indeed live up to the hype. Food is good though prices are a little steep but i guess good food are worth those pennies, no?
Super cute (and yummy) pies ^^
& it's shopping time!
Hay Street Mall / Murray Street Mall / London Court
Basically Hay & Murray Street are shopping districts and they have individual shopping centres. Like how Orchard road is an entire street of individual shopping centres kind of thing. I think for maybe convenience sake they just name the entire street Hay Street Mall / Murray Street Mall. Major departmental stores in Australia (not just Perth) are Myers and David Jones. Something like our Robinsons and Isetan. According to Sheryl, perfumes in Priceline (something like our watsons) are much cheaper. I'm not so good with the price range of fragrance so uhm, can't comment on that but cosmetics wise i think the prices are more or less the same. Oh and Pandora is approximately $10/$20 cheaper in Perth as well (yup this Peiling went crazy buying the charms, sorry cannot appreciate). Oh and their supermarts are Coles & Woolsworth
Headed over to Yilin's mum's friend's place who is really generous to offer us a room to stay for a night. So she brought us out for dinner @ Pasta Cup (i think) and then to Westfield Carousel for late night shopping (Every thursday is late night shopping whereby the malls closed at 10pm instead of the usual 6pm).

(Day Eight)
Nougats buying / Garden City / Back to +65
Wanted to head to Harbour Town (outlet shopping) and to Westfield Carousel but Yilin's mum's friend decided to play host and bring us to buy (cheap) nougats and to Garden City (said to have more shops than westfield). Did our last round of shopping and nom-ing and it was time to leave for the airport. So yup i guess that marks the end of our 8D7N (grad) trip!
