Taiwan Day Five.

Initial plan was to have round 1 breakfast at Yong He Dou Jiang followed by round 2 breakfast around Xmd. But i was so fed up in the morning trying to settle SSCE in the hotel room. Was frantically whatsapp-ing everybody in Singapore to help me with the timetable selection because the school website just refused to load. Everything would have been better if i didn't forget to bring my laptop. Then again, i'm really thankful to have my friends helping me settle every single thing despite taking up so much of their time.
& So, my parents and sister decided to have breakfast at this pretty cafe a few levels above our hotel. Love the pretty interior of the cafe. Meanwhile, our meal costs us only about sgd4 per person (one of our cheapest meal).

Bought the train tickets to Ruifang at Taipei Main Station (we got confused by the many options on the ticket machines ugh) and subsequently bought tickets at Ruifang to Shifen.
B'cause my sister refused to take photo w the tian deng we wrote together, i looked like a freaking loner and everybody around us took the chance to take a photo of me and my sky lantern mehz. And the best part was that the sky lantern was literally burning like mad (i could feel it on my legs) because my sister was taking photos alternating between my dslr and my phone. That aside, may all our wishes come true x
Walked over to Shifen Waterfalls which took us 'bout half an hour.
& so we finally made it to see the pretty waterfall.
& The best i could captured of the Shifen Waterfall.
Failed attempts of having the majestic waterfall in the background b'cause the water are splashing like mad behind.
Headed over to JiuFen after which. I think we reached there 'bout 6pm and all the stores were closing. Settled for dinner at a cosy restaurant (somewhat of a chinese alfresco dining). Pardon all my super grainy night photos :(
Taiwan Day Six.
[Taipei Xmd > Sun Moon Lake]
Had our last breakfast at Taipei's Macs. Same same but different and of course, way cheaper. Took HSR to Taichung and cabbed over to our hotel at Sun Moon Lake. Dropped our luggage and set off for our cable car + boat ride.
Was thoroughly enjoying the boat ride so not much pictures but love the Cha Ye Dan from one of the stops.
Went back to the hotel room to rest and the view from our balcony is picturesque.
Went out to the streets for walk and settled for dinner after which. Chanced upon a short fireworks show after dinner, had round 2 of cha ye dan, (expensive) fruity popsicle for desserts and then back to our hotel to rest.

Will be uploading the last bit of Taiwan in the next post, once i'm done sorting the photos. & Tioman this weekend got cancelled b'cause of unforeseen circumstances sigh (just when i was anticipating the entire trip) mehz :(
