Hongkong / Macau 2014 (Part I)

Checked in, had macs and then off we go to the Land of Dimsumz. Since we took a midnight flight, we arrived in Hongkong at ~5am in the morning. Our first stop was to travel to Macau and to our dismay, the counter for ferry from HKIA to Macau Ferry Terminal only opens at 8+am. After contemplating if we should wait or proceed to Sheung Wan Ferry Terminal, we decided to idle at the airport and wait for the counter to be open to save the hassle of lugging our luggage. BUT our efforts were wasted when the staffs told us that the earliest ferry is at 11+am. We did a checked online prior to the trip and it is stated online that the ferry leaves every 15 minutes. The staffs told us that only ferries at Sheung Wan Ferry Terminal leave every 15 minutes. So yup we kind of waited in vain because we headed over to Sheung Wan Ferry Terminal for the ferry ride eventually (we didn't want to stay and wait at the airport transit area without food and it'll be crazy waiting for another what 3 hours when we could have taken the time to reach Macau).

Finally arrived at our hotel in Macau after all the waiting, going in rounds and getting lost.

& Off we go to explore the streets of Macau.

We were practically dying of starvation given that our last meal was at Macs the night before at Changi Airport. So we went on to hunt for the famous Margaret's Cafe de Nata. We ordered half a dozen of eggtarts to share along with Ice Milk Tea and Hot Milk Tea. Love love love love the eggtarts, frigging dope i swear!!!

& since we were in Macau, we wouldn't miss out trying Pork Chop Buns.

Had a difficult (and epic) time trying to get a cab to get to Taipa Island. But we made it there eventually so whoop, hi Venetian! The lobby is super grand and there's a couple of open concept Casinos.

& the famous Lord Stow's Bakery!!
(We didn't try this at the Venetian because the queue is really long and we had already included in our itinerary to buy back Lord Stow's Eggtarts from the Hongkong outlet. But anyway, mad love their eggtarts lah *.*)

We headed over to City of Dreams after which but didn't catch any of the shows though. After exploring the place abit, we took a cab and headed back to our hotel to get some rest.

After resting our legs and getting some wifi (we did not get 3G prepaid card in Macau since we were there only for a day so we had to rely on the hotel wifi even though we did get Hongkong 3G prepaid card earlier on at HKIA).

An abundance of casinos along the streets and Macau's pretty night lights.
Hotel Lisboa / Grand Lisboa / Wynn / Macau Tower (spotted from a distance).

Settled at some random place for dinner and this mediocre bowl of noodles cost us sgd6 thereabout :( Whatever it is, it's enough to fill our tummies and warm our souls.

Bought macs back to the hotel to nom on and yup, that pretty much sums up day one of our trip!

Been so annoyed with myself at my lack of discipline to even do anything lately. I just want to be a worm and just nua everyday away. Approximately 4 more months to being an unofficial graduate and i'm so not ready. I don't even know what i really really really want to do, sigh. Then again, i just want to move on with life and get over the phase of being a student because i'm damn sian of my notes (not like i've been studying or what but really just sian). Can anybody feel me?!

Ok end of rant. Till the next~~
